Zuckersüsse Schweiz Wins Swiss Gourmet Book Award

I’m thrilled to announce that Zuckersüsse Schweiz earned the Gold award for Dessert / Pâtisserie at the 2023 Swiss Gourmet Book Award ceremony. A panel of expert judges selected the German language version of my book, Sweet & Swiss, among dozens of cookbooks and other food-related books submitted to the competition. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 10th at the Hotelfachschule Zürich.

Zuckersüsse Schweiz wins gold at the Swiss Gourmet Book Award 2023.

In all, the Swiss Gourmet Book Award chose 21 books to receive prizes in 2023. Nine books were recognized in the gold category, with 12 additional books recognized in the silver category. Books from Swiss publishers that earned gold included the following:

  • Die 100 besten Brote, Marcel Paa, Foto Plus Verlag
  • Zuckersüsse Schweiz, Author Heddi Nieuwsma and Photographer Dorian Rollin, Helvetiq Verlag
  • Meine Alpenküche, Sven Wassmer, AT Verlag
  • Taste of Love, Zineb (Zizi) Hattab, AT-Verlag
